About
If you haven't noticed from the huge text at the top of the page, my name is Dwayne. The main purpose of this site is to chronicle my observations of the world around me while living my life in the Northeast, Boston to be exact.

The Author
More about me. I'm a young man born and raised in Lynn, MA with a West Indian herritage. Went to school and currently work in the city of Boston. An Economics major out of Northeastern U. who strives to find the hidden side of everything.
My dayjob is kinda, for lack of a better word, "blah." So let me describe what activities I enjoy and what you can expect to see on the site.
I am a amateur photographer, with no particular concentration. I'm an amateur not in the sense that I'm a noob, but in the sense that I do it for the pleasure of taking photos. That's not to say I won't mind making a few bucks from the craft. Some of my photography can be seen on the main photography page, and you can see my iPhone Photography here.
In my spare time I'm a writer for Gamerant.com and it's my first foray into the videogame journalism world. I've been contemplating getting into this field of work for along time before joining Game Rant, but couldn't just leave my dayjob and jump in full time. I kinda like paying bills on time and benefits. Luckily for me, I came across a Tweet from Jeff Cannata - co-host of the Totally Rad Show - pointing me towards GR and the rest is history. I've been writing for the site for a while now and I'm really enjoying it. It will be interesting to experience more the gaming world from the journalist side than just from the gamer perspectivce. I definately will need to take on a more analytical role rather than a "OMG THESE GRAPHICS ARE SO COOL! VIDJA GAEMS!" view. You can see all of my articles for Game Rant here.

At this point you've probably gathered that I'm a big gamer. This is true. I've been playing games since the NES days and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
You can find some of my game related experiences over at my Tumblr blog, Random Save Point. The Tumblr was set up to keep the photography and gaming aspects of my life separate. However as time goes on I might post some game related articles here.
Other things you can find on the site, are photos from my daily travels throughout the city of Boston and other photo and game related posts.
Drop a comment, let me know if you like what you see.
